What a night! On December 10th, over 100 players and spectators came together for an unforgettable Chanukah-themed game night, blending the excitement of basketball with the joy of the holiday.
Menorah, Treats, and Dancing
The night kicked off with the lighting of the Chanukah menorah, a beautiful reminder of the miracles and light of this special season. Spirits were high as everyone gathered to celebrate together.
Of course, no Chanukah event is complete without sufganiyot and sfinges, and thanks to the amazing Anat Shapiro, we were treated to the freshest, most delicious holiday treats. Players, spectators, and volunteers couldn’t get enough!
The energy didn’t stop there—lively music filled the gym, halftime turned into a dance party, and the entire night was filled with incredible holiday vibes.
Basketball and Unity
While the games were as competitive as ever, the focus of the night was all about coming together as a community, celebrating Chanukah, and spreading light both on and off the court.
Whether people were playing, cheering from the sidelines, or enjoying a donut with friends, the atmosphere was unbeatable—one of unity, joy, and Jewish pride.
